A 2nd Home

Kati Ann loves an audience! She always finds one at the church office. They keep fun things for Kati Ann to play with in almost every office (like Clifford) so she'll come through and visit. Today she managed to climb in the mail bin after the mail man had come to empty it. She makes herself quite at home in the church office. We'll have to watch to make sure she doesn't completely take over!

Fun Friends

A Year of "School" has Come & Gone

May 13 was the last day of Kati Ann's first year of Mom's Morning Out which we call "School" at our house. Wednesday mornings have been her favorite day of the week since we started! She has enjoyed her friends and her sweet teachers so much. Her teachers handed me a CD full of pictures they had taken throughout the year of Kati Ann & I thought it was fun to see how much she had grown and changed since she had started in August! Enjoy!

Charlotte's House is a Blast!

Friday was Jared's 30th Birthday! Yes, one of us is now in our 30's! For Jared's 30th, we went to 6 Flags together (pre-Kati Ann days it was a favorite past time)! So, Kati Ann spent a couple of days with Charlotte! I looked at these pictures and thought "Charlotte's house is a blast!" Why wouldn't she want to be at Charlotte's? I'm ever so grateful to Charlotte & Darren for allowing Jared & I time to celebrate without worrying about Kati Ann. Thanks Charlotte & Darren!

Being 2 is Great!

May 1 was officially Kati Ann's 2nd birthday! How fun to have a 2 year old that is beginning to "get" the idea of a birthday. She may not understand what it means to have a birthday but she certainly understands that it means cake, a fun song that everyone sings to her & lots of attention! She thinks birthdays are about the best!
We were blessed to get to be in Texas for a wedding on her 2nd birthday so she got to celebrate with both sets of grandparents and even her great-grandparents in Bryan! So she got TWO cakes and TWO parties for a sweet, fun TWO year old!
