Going Somewhere?

I purchased some new luggage and it arrived today. I opened it up to look at it and of course where does Kati Ann go? Inside the luggage. She wanted me to pack her up and take her somewhere. She now says "Go! Go!"

Fun With Aunt Kate

Kati Ann's Aunt Kate came to visit Labor Day weekend and Kati Ann fell in love with her Aunt Kate. She was very disappointed when she had to leave. They played ball and then Kati Ann thought she would "cook" breakfast for her Aunt Kate in the kitchen. "Cooking" is one of Kati Ann's favorite things to do.

My Handy Work

I bought this transfer thing at Hobby Lobby and did it myself.  If you know how I work you would know that I don't do as well when it comes to things with detail so I usually can really screw something like this up but I didn't.  I actually read the directions and followed them and it turned out well.  I was so proud of myself that I had to show it off.

Bean Bag Fort

I bought several beanbag chairs for my preteens.  We brought them in the house before taking them to the church and Kati Ann & I had a blast making a fort out of them.  

(p.s. I do realize she has the same shirt on as in my previous post but it isn't the same day and I did wash it!!)

 

First Day of School

Today was Kati Ann's first day of school.  She is attending the Weekday Early Education program at our church on Wednesday mornings.  We were very excited.  As you can see her Daddy is having a talk with her to make sure she behaves at school!!

Playdate with Thomas

Tuesday afternoon we had a fun afternoon planned at the Botanical Gardens with our friends Thomas and his mom, Kim.  However, Mother Nature had other plans and sent the rain.  We weren't deterred though.  Thomas brought his mom to our house and we played and played and then played some more.  Thomas even got to play with Bailey which was lots of fun!
