Surprise!

I should probably start by saying that I have the most amazing parents!! They have taught me so much about making family a priority. Now to the fun story!
So, last week was Dr. Suess week at Kati Ann's school. My parents were planning on coming on Thursday afternoon after Kati Ann's nap. However, I found out that different parents were coming into read Dr. Suess books to Kati Ann's class throughout the week so I asked my parents if they thought they could come earlier and surprise Kati Ann by reading to her class. So, they went to all the trouble of leaving a day earlier and getting their things together so they could make the 10 hour drive to be at Kati Ann's school Thursday morning. She had no idea they were even coming to Huntsville much less coming to school and she was so pleased and surprised when they came and GanGan read a book to her class. What a special memory we all made.

Kie

So, there is so much to say because it has been FOREVER since I've blogged.
Kie is now 10 months old. He weighs 22 lbs, doesn't crawl but scoots everywhere on his bottom. He has had a rough couple of months (which is why you haven't heard from me much!) He has had continual ear infections since Christmas and finally got tubes today! He was a real trooper and did great.
These pictures were taken by Charlotte this weekend when he stayed with her while we were gone to Chicago. She took him to a bridal shower where he stole the show!
