Bed Head

Kati Ann often wakes up with some pretty crazy bed head. This morning when she woke up from her nap it was particularly bad. So I took pictures so you could see!!

Remodeling is Fun!

We've been working to remodel our kitchen this past week. Kati Ann thinks it is really fun to play in our makeshift kitchen. Jared & I aren't nearly as excited about her "destroying" what little order we are trying to keep.

What's wrong with this picture?

While Kati Ann & I visited GrandAnn & GrandBob in Kilgore, GrandAnn bought Kati Ann a frog swimming pool. The water was cold and Kati Ann didn't think that she wanted in so GrandBob tried to convince her that it wasn't so bad by getting in the pool himself. She thought it was funny but it didn't convince her she still wouldn't get in! Of course from the picture you can tell that really there wasn't any room for her!!

GrandAnn & GrandBob got a kitten!

Uncle Marcus got married this weekend and so the Allens came to Texas! We arrived at GrandAnn & GrandBob's house and found a surprise and her name is "Tiger"! Kati Ann loved her!

Battery Trick

So someone sent me this video in an email. Jared & I watched it together and thought, "Could that really be true?" So, in true Jared & Bobi Ann fashion we pulled out an Energizer 6V battery (we actually had one on hand thanks to my mom) to try the trick! It isn't easy just as the video says but we found this not to be accurate. I'm just sharing it because well it was kind of fun prying open a 6V battery to prove the video's accuracy and in the event that you receive this same video on an email, you don't have to waste your time, a battery or your sanity actually trying to pry open a 6V battery.

MiMi & Poppa Visit

This week Jared's parents came to visit and we did all sorts of fun things. Kati Ann played with MiMi & Poppa in the pool, in the swing and then at the playground at the church. It was so sweet to watch the three of them together. Kati Ann loves her MiMi & Poppa.
